Why “Lattice” Medical?
Why “Lattice” Medical?
From lace to lattice structures
Lattice Medical’s first matrices for the MATTISSE project were inspired by Calais lace, known for its finesse and flexibility. Today, we’ve moved on to 3D-printed lattice structures, which take up the idea of mesh, but with characteristics adapted to tissue regeneration and biocompatibility.
What are lattice structures?
Lattice structures are three-dimensional networks designed to mimic the strength and lightness of natural tissues. In medicine, they facilitate cell regeneration while ensuring high stability.
So why Lattice Medical?
Our name reflects our choice to use these advanced structures to enhance our medical devices. Lattice structures promote vascularization, healing and tissue reconstruction. At Lattice, we believe that technological innovation can transform regenerative medicine.
